We are very happy with our visit! Small and cozy place. The service is up to the highest standards. The food is worhy of a michelin star. Book a table in advance, order the 5 or 7 course menu and expect to have a great time.

Almato was absolutely perfect! The sommelier and waiter were both wonderful and made sure we had the best experience. They brought us so many tastings outside of what we ordered and the house-made focaccia was the most incredible touch. Thank you to the staff at Almato for the most amazing meal!

Would give six stars if possible. Interior was small and beautiful. We ordered the five course tasting menu and at least eight courses came out, including two desserts. The service was impeccable, our waiter was very attentive and the sommelier was good too. The focaccia bread was a serious standout, it was like eating a cloud dipped in rosemary, garlic and olive oil. As a bonus treat, we got to speak with the chef for a few minutes at the end of the meal. This place is in the Michelin guide but they have no stars yet and it's a shame. They deserve at least one, if not two. I don't know if we'll be back in Rome after this trip but if so, we will be back to dine at Almató.
