I would give 10 stars, if available❤️ This place is awesome. We were served by Andrea. We came across this trattoria by accident. We wanted to go to a different place but it was full and we didn’t have reservation. I have to say it was the best thing that could have happened. Didn’t have reservation either but it took us less than 5 minutes to be attended. The best food we had tried in our stay in Rome. From the wine to the coffee there was perfection. Thank you Andrea and Trattoria do Danilo for such an amazing experience. Looking forward to coming back.

I am very embarrassed by the Americans in the comments here. You need a reservation as the restaurant is very busy and almost always full. They are a local restaurant so not all the staff speak English, if you are at a hotel, have one of the staff call and set up a reservation. This is a nice restaurant and you are expected to order a full menu and not just pop in for a quick bite. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is nice, and the waiters are professional and serve the table perfectly - even if they are not overly friendly and smiley as many Americans expect. Pricing, we had an appetizer, a bottle of wine, two entrees, a dessert and espressos for 80 euros. I think is was worth every penny.

The fact that it’s almost impossible to find a seat without a reservation speaks for itself. I would just add that we had a wonderful time here and would recommend this place warmly to my friends.
