Lavo Casino Las Vegas

What an experience! Loved it! From all my Las Vegas trip, I believe, this restaurant was the best one. As you already know, I always look for the fish or vegetarian options, due to some dietary restrictions - and this place was a big big fortune for me! They had Salmon, Sea Bass, and Bronzino! And we tried all of them! And all of them were superb! The service was outstanding thanks to our host Anastasia. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about menu items. The only thing that was a bit off - Tuna tartar. I was happy we ordered salad with a ginger dressing. And that salad complemented Tuna tartar. I was missing some flavors in it, but salad fixed it. Portions are good! Not tiny, but actually good! I was completely full with my Sea Bass, and was not able to finish beats salad. :) Don't forget to make a reservation! It is a very popular spot! As I saw - they can accommodate large groups of people. Also I learned this place turns into nighlubs on Saturday :)))

Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. From the food, the service, music, and ambience, this is a wonderful place for my birthday dinner. The service was fast and our hostess was incredibly friendly. We ordered the Spaghetti with tomato and basil, Seafood Alfredo, Chicken Parmigiana, and the Tagliatelle Bolognese. Nothing was leftover :) Tip: reserved a table for 6 about two weeks before my trip to Vegas!

Lavo has been one of the highlights of my trip this year. It was my first time eating there and I know that it will be a staple in our annual trip. Upon entering the hostesses were extremely friendly and wished me and my love a happy anniversary. We were served by Tim who was incredibly warm and friendly. He helped accommodate my boyfriend's dairy allergy, making great recommendations and being patient as we asked questions. Tim had mentioned that the seafood at Lavo is great and he was right we started with the calamari which was cooked just right. It's served with this really great spicy marinara which I loved. My boyfriend couldn't eat the sauce due to his allergies but Tim also recommended eating the calamari with a garlic aioli which was insanely good and will be my first preference on future visits. Because the seafood was so good I decided to get the salmon entree. I had never been asked what temperature I would like my salmon cooked at, but Tim did a great job of explaining. I decided to get it medium and I sincerely believe that that was the best possible choice, had I asked for it more done, I think it would have lost a considerable amount of its great flavor. The only word to describe it is buttery, it was absolutely perfect and the herb crust top gives it a great texture. My boyfriend got the ribeye which he could cut with a butter knife. Lavo is entirely worthy of their great reputation because those chefs know what they are doing. Finally we ended the night with sorbet and fine teas. The mandarin sorbet was my favorite, and the raspberry was my loves favorite, which is honestly a testament to how good it was because he doesn't even like raspberries. I really want to thank Tim and Megan (his charming assistant) for making the night really special
