We made a reservation for 6:30 and were seated promptly. Since this was our first time at Mizumi we let our waiter guide our order based on a tentative budget and personal food preferences. All of his recommendations were wonderful and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had. Pricey? Yes, but when you want excellent quality, you usually pay for it. 10 out 10 would recommend!

Great food and experience! We started with wild snapper sashimi as lot of people leaving good reviews on this and I would concur that this dish was really good.. it was my favorite. We followed this with truffle creamy crab croquettes, also extremely good. We then had wagyu beef and lobster roll and the crispy rice with spicy tuna, which were also very good. Throughout the meal we snacked on edamame and sake tastings and finished off with a very good passion fruit souffle. This is all with a great view. One of the best meals we have had in the last year. Will plan to return when back in town.

Had a great experience here. Our service was really friendly and knowledgable but as the evening wore on and the restaurant got busier she did become a lot less attentive. Was visiting as part of a birthday meal and asked for advice on drinks and food. Cocktails were good and good wine selection too. The food was outstanding though! We tried and enjoyed: Wild Snapper Sashimi, Wagyu Gyoza, Truffle Crab croquette (my favourite), Scallop and shrimp roll and the Toothfish Saiko-yaki. Every dish was well seasoned and balanced with playful and decorative plating. It was a feast for the eyes and mouth. We found the toothfish a bit too subtle in flavour but absolutely LOVED everything else. Will return on our next trip to try more of the menu.
