UPDATED REVIEW 2023*** I recently went to Lavo and had a wonderful experience. The Focaccia was AMAZING! My steak was cooked perfectly how I like it and it was delicious. I had the wonderful Ricardo as my server who is kind, knowledgeable and provides exquisite service. We also met Leonardo who recommended an Italian desert that was great. I would DEFINITELY recommend lavo for a dinner, date night, birthday or any event you can think of. Such a wonderful Italian restaurant in NYC! Nov 2022: Had a really wonderful time, the ambiance is super calming and nice. We had a great server by the name of Leo. The penne alla vodka with shrimp was absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend this place
