Let me say that Lavo is a must while in New York. When you are dining at this level, this is as good as it gets. All hammers are hitting the right notes like a symphony. Starting with the complimentary appetizers. Don't get me wrong this was an expensive meal. The bread in the foil was heated and properly buttered and seasoned. The marinara was excellent. The olives had an oil and Parmesan dressing. The hummus was fresh the pickled cauliflower was excellent. We started off with the eggplant Parmesan. Off the chart. We had the chicken Parmesan as the entree. Thinly pressed out, with a light breading. Perfectly seasoned with a garlicky background. The cheese was a thin layer melted with a wonderful light cheesy flavor. The tiramisu was heavenly, with real lady fingers for a garnish.
