Ilios Tulum

We just had a fantastic experience at Ilios in Tulum! Our neighbors recommended the place and we couldnt be more satisfied with the service and food! Rodolfo and Elias were our waiters and it felt like we “waited” for nothing. What’s that? Your drink is almost empty, here’s another one. Oh did you make a mess on your table? Let me immediately clean that up for you. So friendly, so patient, and so hard working we appreciated it all. If you’re in a hurry, they can get the food our very fast. If you want to stay and drink, all the while watching their music and sparklers go off, they are more than accommodating of that too. My wife and I have been to about a half dozen greek islands. Everything we had on the menu we would consider authentic and delicious. And holy s**t did we order a lot. We had the dip trio sampler, greek salad, saganaki, gyro, pasta and roasted cauliflower. They even brought us a double shot of tequila to thank us for coming there on our honeymoon. Valet Parking was a breeze. Anything under 3 hours is free with a stamp from the receptionist desk and if you go over its like 115 pesos. Lots to do in the area and the free greek ilios bracelet and baklava at the end of the night was a nice tough. We will definitely be back and maybe stay sober enough to make it to the plate smashing part we have heard about haha!

This restaurant is out of this world, the food was magnificent and the ambiance was breath taking. The service was absolute perfection. This is our second time in Tulum and we will definitely be back to Ilios. Don’t walk run to this place, we loved it!!!

Visited Ilios back in April and really enjoyed my time! We were about to order the baba ganoush and tzatziki but the server suggested we try the tasting platter. Little did we know we were going to be charged individually for each dip, which came out to be more than we thought. The experience of cutting the tomato and sprinkling olive oil and cheese on top was nice. The pita was good and filling. I had the salmon tartare and my friend the tuna. My other friend enjoyed the gyros. Had a ton of fun with the sparklers, dancing around the restaurant and breaking of plates—in true Greek fashion. Looking forward to my return in the future!
