Rosa Negra Tulum

I went to Tulum last year and I am way late reviewing this place but better late than never. =) I researched restaurants with a great party vibe on Instagram and google before arriving at Tulum and this place was on my radar. I made reservations before leaving as I had heard from others that this place gets too packed and it's better to make reservations. We had made a reservation for 9:45pm and due to heavy traffic down that street we didn't get there on time. At arrival the hostess said we had missed our reservation by over 20 minutes and they had no place for us anymore. We were bummed as we were looking forward to it all week. As we were about to leave our friend who is such a sweet talker, talked to the hostess and after five minutes of going back and forth with her she said she could find a table for us and she sat us down. It was such a fun vibe. We went on a Friday night and everyone was dancing on top of the chairs and tables (including us). There was an aerialist show which was amazing! We ordered the Tomahawk steak and shared it between three people and it was delicious. Good food, good drinks, and great vibes. Definitely worth going here. Just make reservations ahead of time if you don't want to be turned away.

Always a good time here at Rosa Negra, service is great they always go above and beyond to make sure you’re having a good time. Food is good too and can’t forget the sparklers! Makes it extra fun. If you say it’s your birthday they’ll offer you a free cake. The ventilation system could be improved as it gets super hot and humid inside.

Food and service was amazing! Our servers Gabriel and Leslie went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The atmosphere is great as well. I would definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for a fun night with great food and service.
