Food: A variation of sushi followed by miso marinated black cod. It’s surprising that from New York to Madrid they can execute to near flawless perfection. It is not overly fancy and without pomp and circumstance. In a single word; Spectacular! Drink: The drink selection is excellent and could appeal to anyone who appreciates a great selection. A shining note are the house made cocktails with a Japanese spin, which are not to be missed. Ambiance: It’s got a great vibe and the house DJ is spinning great tracks that help to create extra warmth and energy. The seating is comfortable and the tables and chairs accommodate people from large to small. How I dream a living room should be, but you are actually eating well prepared food of the best quality. Service: The service was also very good. The servers know the menu and, as a result, they make great recommendations for things you might never order for yourself and didn’t know you could love! Overall: It’s a Japanese Izakaya themed restaurant that’s doing nearly everything as well as one can expect and it’s in the heart of Madrid. It’s a mistake not to visit if this is gastronomy you appreciate.

Zuma consistently exceeds my expectations. I went for lunch on Sunday in August so the place was pretty quite. The impeccable standards of food and outstanding service never cease to amaze me. I'm eagerly looking forward to returning for dinner and indulging in their incredible drinks while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere with a live DJ.
