Girafe Paris

Perfect for romantic dinner with the view! Awesome French cuisine to try on. It was perfect treat from my husband on my birthday!!! Great restaurant! Better to make reservations ahead to dine in the ground floor with the great view! We got our table on the top open patio with the view! In door/outdoor seating! Ambience 5*, taste 5* value of money 4* service 5*... We been host by Elizabeth! Great server! She gives lots of suggestions and she picked great for us! The manager speaks good English.. which was helpful too! Awesome experience to eat here!

You must come even just for the view!! Restaurant opens at 7, and we don’t have a reservation, so we came around 6:15 hoping to put our name down first. But the security in the building denied our entry and informed us it’s open at 7, so please wait outside. I was surprised regardless if you have a res or not, you must wait till 7pm. We got lucky to get a table at the rooftop! The view is just incredible, beyond words! This restaurant is so beautiful inside and out, but I suggest to sit in rooftop or patio section on the ground floor. Food is actually not as expensive as I expected, but cocktail/wine is quite expensive; 20 euro per glass on average. Overall food is pretty good, cocktail looks and tastes amazing, dessert is 🤌, service is top notch (everyone is so polite, hard to see this in France lol). We loved our dining experience and believe it should be on your must to do list.

I want to write about how this restaurant looked out for my husband and I when you would least expect a place like this to do so. I was recommended this restaurant by my agent and it took a lot of effort for us to get a reservation - or at least, that was what we were told by our agent. When we arrived for our reservation on July 6th, despite our itinerary stating that we were booked at Girafe, our terrible agent had screwed up and booked us at their sister restaurant which was at minimum a 15-minute drive away (as you can imagine, it is very hard to get cabs during the summer in Paris). We were super upset because our agent had already messed up a reservation that we had a Jules Verne so we thought we were done for sure and would be charged for missing a reservation at another spot that we did not even know we had. The hostess was so helpful to us - she was able to figure out where our reservation was and get it cancelled so that we were not charged for a no-show. She also was able to figure out availability so that we could be taken despite not having the reservation we believed we had for weeks. I was so thankful for this woman's assistance as I know how hard it is to get a reservation here. I don't know if other people are harsh when they arrive (as there were quite a few negative comments about treatment), but in my experience, kindness goes a long way and if you treat people with respect, they will help you. The meal was beyond lovely. The view was phenomenal, and we cannot wait to come back again. You were one of the highlights of Paris for us!
