restaurant

N/ Naka stands as a peak of fine dining in Los Angeles. It focuses on kaiseki, a traditional Japanese multi-course meal. Chef Niki Nakayama combines her love for Japanese food with her California background to create a unique eating experience. The restaurant is cozy, with just 26 seats, offering a very personal touch. The place looks elegant and simple, creating a classy vibe.

Each dish on the tasting menu is a blend of flavors and textures, using the best ingredients from California and Japan. From tangy fruits to juicy seafood, N/ Naka's dishes are a feast for the senses. There's also a skilled sommelier to suggest the best wine pairings from a wide selection.

The place attracts a variety of people, all there to enjoy top-notch food. The staff is friendly and knows a lot, making everyone feel welcome. Whether it's for a special night or just for fun, the team at N/ Naka makes every visit special.

N/ Naka is a must-visit for anyone who loves food in Los Angeles. With its creative meals and warm service, it's a real gem. Just remember to book early, as spots open only once a month and fill up fast!

Fantastic presentation of the food and great taste, but the highlight was when Chef came out to great us at the end. Food, service, experience and friends get 5 stars.

2nd time here and it definitely didn't disappoint. First time was in Jan 2018 and they have since been awarded 2 Michelin stars. Chef Niki Nakayama definitely knows what she's doing and continues to innovate. Definitely recommend this place if you are able to get a reservation.

Loved dinner here. Their sushi was on point. Their A5 Wagyu lived up to all the hype around A5 and then some. Great sake/wine pairing.
